Like everyone else, I too just received one of these email, extremely convincing. It states direct debit failure. Correct Area code but wrong account number, also bill payed 4 days ago lol.

 

I don't think VM's email system security is really cracked up all that much. !

Scam and spam emails are impossible to block 100%. the best defense against scam emails is user education. Learn to recognize fakes and delete/ignore them. They are never hard to spot
