Hi, I got a text yesterday from virgin media regarding contractual changes with a link to follow. I do not have a virgin media account so I suspected it was a scam and deleted it, however upon researching it, it seems like someone must have input their number incorrectly and that's how I received it. There's a few other threads on here regarding the same thing.
I also tried for ages to get in touch with virgin via their helpline and while I eventually did, I explained I don't have an account. I rang again this morning and it still appears nothings changed as the end of the postcode it provides is not mine so presumably the phone call did nothing as I was hoping when I rung the number wouldn't be linked to an account.
I would appreciate some help to sort this out so that my number isn't being used for an account I don't have. Thanks
