Possible fake call from Virgin Tech

Just had a call from an Indian lady from Virgin Tech Support. She seemed to be asking questions that she should have answers to. When challenged she hung up. Called from [MOD EDIT: Cloned number]. Has anyone had a similar experience. Was it actually genuine?

Virgin usually ring from an 0800 number, so almost certainly a 'scammer'....

This was a scam call. The number is clone of a legitimate users number on the Helmsley exchange, so I have asked the mods to remove it in case it gets spammed.
