Hi, I'm no longer a Virgin Media customer but I have an old ntlworld account that I have been using on an iphone for years. It appears that this account has now been compromised.I can't change the password for the account as the online portal doesn't recognise my credentials so I think I have no alternative but to delete the email account. Something I can't do myself. How can I get this done.
The email account should have been deleted 90 days after you ceased to be a VM broadband customer.
There are many posts in this Community Forum indicating that the process is not working properly.
The VM Forum Team should be able to arrange for this account to be deleted fully.
They will contact you via Private Message through this forum when they reach this thread in a day or so.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Learn more

Thanks for the reply, fingers crossed they'll get to me soon.
Hi, I was hoping that someone might be able to take a look at this issue as the email address has definitely been compromised and is now causing security issues.
Thanks in advance
I have flagged this post to the staff team as it appears to have been overlooked.
That's much appreciated, many thanks.
Sorry to hear this alanw2020,
I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
Check out the purple envelope in the top right hand corner for a PM from me, and I'll seek to have this closed down for you.
