NYMAIM infection

Hi:

Had two emails from Vitgin about a device being infected with nymaim virus.

I have vhecked two desktops and one laptop with IObit Malware fighter and every time they come up clean,dot know whay else to try,any idead anybody.

The Nymaim malware affects Windows only and if having scanned all such devices on your home network nothing was found it likely means:

• it may have been a false positive
• the infected device was temporarily connected to your home network

If you have followed the advice Virgin Media provided in the notice then you have done all that is expected of you. Should you receive further notices then you will need to consider if it is appropriate to try a different anti-malware tool and pursue further information about the detection from Virgin Media in case it helps pinpoint the cause.
