Mysterious Netflix account

Hi, any ideas how Netflix's account appeared on my VM account, pushing my bill this month from £32 to £88. My wife got account with Netflix, newer used one in my name, very surprised, to discover that I am paying for one since last two months. 

Well done VM sales department, hope some of you hit last months sales targets;)

Can't wait for BT fibre, on my street, so I could say thank you for your box of tricks.

Sorry to hear there's some confusion around Netflix on your account.

 

As far as I'm aware this isn't something we're able to add on your behalf - only someone with access to the box can subscribe with their email address, as described here: https://www.virginmedia.com/virgin-tv-edit/tips-and-tricks/netflix-add-to-bill.

 

I am slightly confused by unexpected extra cost on your bill due to this though - as it Netflix doesn't cost anywhere near £51, I think the most expensive option for it is £15 per month. Have you been able to view a breakdown of the bill online via your MyVM account?

Here is another thread where someone had a similar problem and it was advised to contact Netflix, although the OP there said it was Virgin who finally sorted it after a complaint.  Keep at both of them until it is sorted!
