My website is being blocked

Hello, our online webstore, where we sell audio recordings and software for music producers has been for some reason blocked by Virgin Media some days back. We are lately receiving a lot of support tickets from our customers as due to the fact that our webstie as well as our licensing servers are being blocked - those users are not able to activate software that they have purchased from our site.

We are therefore receiving a lot of bad / angry reviews for thing that we have no control over. We consider this to be an URGNET request - I've already notified you via email (websafefeedback@virginmedia.co.uk)  + a colleague of mine called your support centre today, where he has been told to create an account on this community support page (that's what I just did).

It is sadly affecting quite heavily our business. I would like to ask you for a fast solution.

Our site is free of malicious content and we never experienced such issue before.

The site is: https://www.waproduction.com/ (+ subdomains)

Thank you very much for your email,

Roman

It's not blocked, I was just able to visit the main page a moment ago.

Re: My website is being blocked

I am sure it is blocked. Take a look here: https://www.blocked.org.uk/site/http://www.waproduction.com/

Also all of the users that reported issues with registrating our plugins are using Virgin Media. When they switched from Virgin Media connection to something else, they were able to activate the software with no issues.

I am not an IT guy, it's possible that our main store is not blocked, but our subdomains or licensing servers are blocked for sure: https://licenses.waproduction.com/ / https://www.blocked.org.uk/site/http://licenses.waproduction.com/

Re: My website is being blocked

Hi waproduction,

Your site works fine for me. The problem is it is being blocked by Web Safe. I don't have Web Safe switched on.

You need to contact Virgin here  onlinesecurity websafe feedback

Web Safe blocks any site that it believes to contain unsuitable or malicious content. We make constant updates to help protect you and your family online, but you can use the form below to report a website that you think should have been blocked by Web Safe, or if Web Safe has blocked a website that you think shouldn't have been blocked. Please enter the address of the website, along with a few more details.

Re: My website is being blocked

I am unable to use the link you provided me as it requires registration, which requires Account Number (from a VM bill) and Area reference number - I have none of these since I am not using VM services and I am not UK located. How should I proceed in that case?

Re: My website is being blocked

Hi again,

In that case I suggest that you could contact F-Secure directly as it's them and not Virgin Media that are blocking your site.

F- Secure Support

I googled the site and when I opened the link the page allowed me to submit a url for analysis - there was also a messenger tab opened to communicate directly with them in real time.Clipboard01.jpg

Re: My website is being blocked

The Blocked project result now show there are no active blocks and 1 past block; previously it indicated Virus Safe was blocking the website but AFAICS that was not the case.

licenses.waproduction.com is currently returning a 404 error
