Re: Member of staff?

Hello

Did she have the Virginmedia symbol next to her name and under her name "Forum Team" then if so then she is not a scammer but a member of staff and that would be one legitimate way of passing security.

Do you mean this person https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/699960

In this post https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Managing-Your-Account-Cable/I-need-to-downgrade-my-package/m-p/...

Re: Member of staff?

Hi @Stagaz,

I can confirm @Emily_G is a member of staff and would have been asking those details to clear security on your account.

You can find a full list of our forum team lineup here.

Best,

Re: Member of staff?

You'll send me a letter saying if we don't hear back from you in 28 days it's all fine.

How do i get in contact with you?

its a moot point that you've been "trying to help"

Asking for bank details on a forum?

Re: Member of staff?

As already advised over private message we need to pass security on the account to put through any package changes and the helpful community member above has directed your to the page I referenced when explaining staff accounts.

Thanks, Emily.
