I have received two emails over the last few days headed
'Our reference: VMIS5-MALWARE-F008000374
A device using your internet connection may be infected with malware....
I have scanned all my equipment and have upto date security from bitdefender total security 2020 but cannot find any issue the latest email states the maleware is iotwopbot. My network is quite large and has quite a few items on it such as cctv onvif system and currently as I am working from home my work system has its own vpn. Could it be caused by any of these if not what else could I try? Thanks in advance.
I looked at the cctv and found the passwords were weak and updated them one however kept resetting to no password. Suspect this may be the problem so I have removed it and replaced. My sister had also noted it moved on its on once. Is there anyway I can get virgin to rerun the check to verify?
