Lost/stolen SIM card

Hello,

I am in Ireland and had no signal, so visited various phone shops and ended up getting an Irish SIM. I have a dual SIM phone, and now I find my Virgin SIM is missing.

Is this a security issue? Can my SIM be used to my disadvantage? Should I cancel this SIM? If so, how?

Otherwise, is it ok to just order a new SIM with my number to be there when I arrive back home? Can I do this on line?

Thank you!

Re: Lost/stolen SIM card

Hi Phisco,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

Really sorry that your SIM is missing, this isn't good.

We would need to block the SIM from being used as well as sending you a new one to your UK address.

So we can get this done quickly I'm going to pop you a personal message and grab some details.

If you've since found the SIM do let us know.

Re: Lost/stolen SIM card

All sorted @phisco

The new SIM will arrive within the next few days and will be ready to use when you return.

Your mobile number will stay the same and any credit will be on the new SIM card as well.

If you do have any issues or concerns then let us know

Thanks 🙂
