I’ve just had a call today from CARS which is a debt collection agency saying that They have been instructed by virgin media to chase me for an outstanding amount of £49. I have not been a virgin media customer for three years. I have not had any communication from virgin since the account was closed. I have spent ages this morning trying to contact virgin however I’m really struggling to get through because I am no longer a current customer! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can find out if this is genuine, if I should be concerned and how I might contact virgin to check with them if they have really instructed this company?
Thanks
