Just a tip if you have not done this already.
If you can view the direct debits that have been set up in your online banking, the Virgin Media direct debit will show the VM account number as the reference for that DD.
If you can quote that reference it should enable the authorities to quickly identify the VM broadband or mobile contract that is being settled by DD from your bank account.
