Having a similar issue to be honest, I thought it was a user error, as the eMails were all from a Golf Club, sent to members s but despite informing the club, and them being Very infrequent, they stopped years ago.
Now I have been sent an hotel invoice, with very private info.
I suspect it's yet another issue with multiple old accounts at fault, most of mine are NTLWorld, but it's a clear GDPR breach, and makes me wonder if my eMails can get sent to them.
Can Someone from the forum team PM me about the issue.

If you are sure the email is not from some miscreant then consider contacting the sender to report the GDPR issue.
