 They could call Interpol and get a SWAT team sent to the persons address!

Hi all,

 

You can find the latest updates regarding known phishing emails on the dedicated threads on our Security Matters board. Any emails which have been reported to us or picked up by our internet security team would be listed for your information.

 

If you ever receive a suspicious email purporting to be from us, please forward this to phishing@virginmedia.com. If the email is returned as spam, we are already aware of this example and have logged it in our systems.

 And its making the rounds again.  I received this today.  I’ve checked the link in an above post and it seems virgin are aware, but it still looks legit and people could be caught out.  I panicked at first trying to figure out why, then checked my bank and most recent bill notification and realised the dates didn’t tally.  I would never have followed the link anyway, I would have called.

I can’t believe this is still going on after 2+ years

(Tried to add a photo but it’s too big)

I also had this email today 13-02-2020. It would be helpful to know how Virgin Media would let a customer know that their payment had failed.
