Can anyone offer some advice please?

A few days ago I installed F Secure Safe on my iPhone and iPad to take advantage of the offer and whilst it does not seem to slow things down I am not sure it is doing anything 🙁

It is supposed to be scanning several times a day but there seems to be no results of this like there are for other anti virus packages.  I have now discovered how to use safe browsing but I have tended to use banking Apps rather than a browser.  I am not keen to pay £30 a year if it is not doing anything!  Any thoughts welcome please and any alternatives. Thanks

Thanks for that which confirms my understanding. The main thrust of my question was what does F Secure Safe actually do? It does not seem to do anything. The anti virus I have on the Macs I can start or schedule a regular scan and it tells me if malware has been detected. I might add this piece of kit cost a lot less than £30pa from the App Store.

“It does not seem to do anything”, is likely a reflection of the software only alerting when an event of significance occurs rather than it not performing various action to protect your device, for instance detecting unwanted / malicious actions, real-time scanning, etc. If it is unsuitable for your needs then consider alternatives and do make sure to read their terms and conditions, and privacy statement. Hope you find a solution that works for you.
