F-Secure anti virus software, does anyone reccommend?

Have just signed up with VirginMedia and have been asked to download F-Secure anti virus software. We are currently covered by Norton and are happy with this. Does anyone think F-Secure provides better security than we already have?

Personally I wouldn’t use third party antivirus software at all.
If F-Secure was free then maybe I would use it.

I gave up on Norton to use Defender with MalwareBytes.

Thanks for your advice. F-secure appears to be free for the first year, then £25 annually after that. I'm now thinking of looking at something more comprehensive as you suggest.

Norton is usually one of the top paid av software but Defender is now climbing the ladder & is one of the top free ones.
The only benefit Norton has is camera protection & a vpn.

Yes, the VPN is required so we're sticking with Norton at present. Thanks for sharing your views.

Thanks. Norton’s newer features like camera protection & VPN do seem a good idea.
