I left Virgin late last year. My email account is still active. I’ve been advised that it’s no longer secure by a credit agency. Attempts to speak to Virgin have been totally unsuccessful- been given different tales, been cut off and am totally frustrated. How do I close this account down?
Welcome to our Community and for your first post to our wall; I am sorry that your email address is still active after all this time; they should be deleted after 90 days. Sometimes, if it is still in use or still receiving emails, it can fall through the net.
We can of course get this removed for you as long as it is registered to an old inactive account. I'll pop you a Private Message so we can go through some checks with you and get this sorted. Please look out for the Purple Envelope in the top right of the page and pop me a reply when you can.
This is crazy. The private message system, built into this Forum is working perfectly well. Just a single click on the envelope with the no 1 against it at the top right hand corner of this screen is all you need. It takes a few seconds. It isn't an e-mail. I've just tested it and it works. Then reply. Do not post any details of the address you want deleted here. If you do it will be immediately deleted. Against Forum rules.
