Email Hacked

Help, my Virgin Media email has been hacked, I have performed all the appropriate security checks but I also want my email address and account deleting but calling Virgin Media hasn’t helped. It is my primary account and an old ntlworld address, I want to keep my current services with Virgin Media, I just don’t want an email address and account that has been compromised.
