Elderly grandad can’t pass security

Hi,
My elderly grandad has thrown away the router in our house (we think he has dementia now, although not confirmed).

The account is in his name but when we called up to order a new router, he got confused and couldn’t pass security. 
How do we get through this? We need a new router ASAP!

I may be wrong but it may be best to post this in the setup and installation part of the forum

Thanks for your post and for reaching out to the Community Forums, JLB1982,

 

Sorry to hear this has occurred, for instances where the account holder does not remember the account security passwords then one will be set to his address for him to use. Once he gets it he can call using this password and then reset it to one he will remember.
