Child Safe Not Working

Child safe is not working. It is showing as switched on, but nothing is being blocked. Please can you advise?

I recently joined Virgin Media and haven't modified any settings, so I expected this to work.

What is it in the private PMs that is being said and fixing the problem?!! I don’t understand why this happening. I have the same issues. 
I have also looked into the Virgin F-secure online security thing for £3 p/m but the links to that page all don’t work and the links to register to get 3 free months trial also don’t work on either a mobile or on a pc browser.
