Cant access websafe to change settings

Hi, each time I go to access websafe settings in the my virgin app, when clicked it takes me back to menu page so I can't turn it off.

Anyone know how I can turn it off

Login to the Virgin Media online account in a web browser.

From there the Web Safe can be accessed and configured.

Bypass Child Safe

Restarting the Hub will not help as it is the VM DNS and not the Hub that is causing the problem.

If you changed the computer's network settings to use any Public DNS does that re-gain access.

Try with OpenDNS using 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

I am picking this one as there are instructions here : https://use.opendns.com/

For Google Public DNS is would be the same method but  8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I'm a new customer, I don't understand DNS and have never changed it, I've only had my service for a week

You need help from the VM Team to disable Child Safe.  Give them a day or two to read this thread and to respond to you.

Some day I am going to paste in the explanation of how to bypass child safe and a parent is going to be in a rage that their kids are now looking at online betting or  weapons !

I see post #4 is marked with a green tick i.e. it is a solution. 

The VM Team will now assume that you are content.

If you do still need the VM Team to turn off the Child Safe for you, go back to post #4 and remove the green tick.

Hi Phil, not sure how to remove the green tick but it's not resolved, I need VM to remove childcare for me
