Can access blocked website

Hi,

I have blocked the below websites discord.com and moot.us but these web sties are still accessible in any browser but not in mobile

Why is this weird behaviour and how can I get this blocked in browser as well

Web Safe works via Virgin Media's DNS and to confirm if that is the case go to https://1.1.1.1/help and confirm the reported AS Name is Virgin Media.

Let me try this option and is this officially recommended by Virgin 

Why is that it is allowed in laptop browser but not in mobile which still I am weird any reasons to explain please

By default you will use VM DNS but this can be override by the device either by VPN, proxy change of DNS or a browser with DNS over TLS

If you wish to really limit DNS use modem mode with a router and a swtich VLAN two ports untag between hub and router and with the switch having ACL you can limit to VM DNS or you can get a high end router and do it that way.

The web safe settings is switched on with the sites in the block still able to access the websites I have already attached screenshot

Sorry to see you're still facing an issue with your blocked sites on web-safe not working, could you please advise if the Child Safe is switched on too as the blocked list is under this feature?
Also, have you checked further settings such as filtering to ensure it's all set to the right options for you in order for the pages to be blocked by Child Safe?
You can customise your Child Safe settings for your family by clicking on the Categories, Sites or Timer filters and selecting the level of protection.

No, not as far as I know but this should not detract from it being a valid troubleshooting process to determine if the device is using Virgin Media DNS or not. If you are concerned by the URL see Cloudflare | Wikipedia for more information about who operates 1.1.1.1 - Wikipedia

If one device is using Virgin Media DNS and the other is not you would see the described behaviour.

As explain earlier if they are using different DNS setting then this would be seen. Quickest means to confirm this is to follow the previous advice here Re: Can access blocked website - Virgin Media Community - 5197227
