Call from Virgin Agent - Suspicious

Hi, 

I submitted an enquiry to get a new connection for my new house on 17/10/2020. I received a call from an Agent  today(19/10/2020) asking me about the package that I wanna go for. He asked for my Account number and sort code which I felt suspicious. He then sent me an email which did not have any Virgin Media logo etc. Is this normal? To ask for bank details over the phone? Please let me know
