'Unfortunately some people do fall for these scams'
tell me about it. as an anti scammer i've seen it all. everything from people showing off their new credit card on social media, someone sending a list of all their passwords off to 'get a prize' to a former CEO of a company giving their details (including their NINO) to win a weeks holiday.
the most ludicrous one of all was the person who blamed someone else for them being scammed because they had pointed out it was a scam. ie it wouldn't have been a scam if you hadn't told me.
as long as you are getting scam emails/calls/letters, it is because someone else has fallen for it.
