Apple saying weak security

since updating my ipad and iphone I have notifications on both saying that WPA/WPA2(TKIP) is not considered secure and to configure the router to use WPA29AES) or WPA3  I have no idea how to do this as virgin media put in our router.  I am finding this worrying as I rely on my iPhone and iPad to keep me cheerful during this horrible year.

Re: Apple saying weak security

Thank you for your help, Ben. I assume then that our WiFi security is ok? Hope so.

Hello

Yes you WiFi security is secure, it is basically just Apple being over zealous.
