The coax certainly looks ok. For some reason the telephone cable (now disused for new connections) has been stripped back with two of the four internal cables connected up inside Only two are required for the legacy telephone service, so there was probably an issue with the other two wires at some time or a splice was put in because the whole cable was damaged.
Not good if it’s a splice, as it’s not weather proof. But as I say, the new connections only use the coax, so no issues there.

We only have broadband at the moment (cancelled phone a couple of months ago). Internet was playing up, slow connection, no internet at all so I thought I would check everything. Just wanted to make sure it is safe. Thank you
