superhub 2ac hangs

Hi,

The wifi on my Superhub 2ac occasionally stops working, hardwired devices are OK. A reboot fixes it.

I phoned support asking for a 3 to see if that would improve things, and he told me he had remotely changed my upstream channels. 

Thinking this would make little difference I check the router, and all he had dome was changed my 5ghz wifi channel!

On a separate issue - came home and discovered that the whole router had hung on the 27th, a reboot fixed it but from the logs it looks like there may also have been a network issue earlier - but I still don't expect the router to hang.

Even today - internet is slow - took 2 or 3 minutes for the 192.168.1 login to page to load over wifi, and even then it looked like it had no style sheet.

Can't face another phone call to support, can one of the mods get me a Superhub 3 to try. Happy to do a self install.

You could try the "free" Hub3 replacement scheme - see the link below.
If you get the - "Ooops - please call" message – then when you call, go through options 1,1,4,5 - to get through to retentions - you will get a UK based person who should at least know about the deal - no-one seems to have informed the "offshore" lot about it yet ! It may be that you aren’t eligible and they will want to charge you - do not accept that - come back here.

if the fault is elsewhere changing the hub will have no effect so best to start with a few checks although from what you say wired is ok but no harm in posting the levels

log into superhub - 192.168.0.1 - DON'T SIGN IN, click router status [top right] - and post the downstream and upstream figures
