The second picture is the socket that you would need to use to be able to connect your services to the Virgin network.
The brown box that you have shown, is that on the outside wall that is the same wall as the socket in the second picture, they should be on the same wall or close by, brown on the outside and the white socket on the inside.
First picture is a BT Openreach connection. This is no use to you as Virgin have their own network.
Second picture is a multi platform outlet plate usually used for communal aerial systems. This would not be used for Virgin unless the building had internal wiring. The fact that a brown omnibox is outside would rule this out.
What you need to find is where the cables come in from the omnibox.
