I bought my first property and ordered my broadband a few days before moving in as i know there is a wait for an engineer, and given working from home I need internet. Whilst setting up my contract, my address was available for self install, but when the kit came I realised that the property doesn't have a virgin media box so I have nowhere to plug the cables into.... I need to book an engineer, and keep going around in circles on the website trying to do so or even talk to someone. Currently spent nearly 3 hours on the phone listening to Jamiroquai and I'm loosing my mind. I just want to get some help and the website is useless for what I need. I'm worried i'm going to be paying for a contract with zero service.
I can see that you have made a similar post in another thread which I've replied to. Sorry to hear of the issue with your self-installation but glad you've been able to since book an engineer for this.
