This may be the first of many questions...

Just received my new hub 5 as part of my new all singing all dancing volt package. I am not looking forward to adding the new network details on umpteen phones/laptops /smart assistants etc etc. I am wondering..... rather than update the wifi details on individual items, can i rename the hub5 to the same network name and password as the old hub? or is that too simple?

Yes you can certainly rename the SSID/SSIDs to the name used on your old hub. Use a web browser and go into the hub on 192.168.0.1, logon with the password on the bottom of the hub, not the WiFi password, and you can change the names and password in the settings.

Thanks, I will try that once (if) the darn thing ever stops updating!!!!!!

Hi there @astidog

Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the forums.

Have you been able to rename the SSID since your last post? If so how did this go?

A big thank you as well to @Tudor for their help on this so far.

Thank you.
