Ok now they are literally installing it just down the road, and I asked them if they are coming to my street they said no just going straight down the road?

Why is it impossible to talk to someone that can tell me an answer or give me a straight answer?

Post your enquiry in the 'Quick Start' forum. The VM forum staff don't usually reply here in 'Community Natter'.

These build contractors are just that; contractors. They only have a plan for the street they are engaged in. There are no doubt other teams around that may be coming to your road in future. Virgin do not normally install on unadopted roads, but if you are adopted (local authority maintained) you have a good chance. Just before the build you will usually see loads of green markings on the pavements. The Forum Team here won’t have access to the build plans. They only have access to the postcode database of existing connections, so are unlikely to be of help.
I also ought to point out that the street build is just the first part of a long process. The backend work is not usually completed until the build is complete, which could be a few months away depending how many streets/estates are involved. When the network is switched on there should be flyers through the door, or you may get a rep paying you a visit.
