replace hub3 with hub5, now no internet

Tuning in

all I get from support is "wait for it". well, have been waiting 2 days now. still nothing !

router log says:

Acquired Downstream Channel(Hz)331000000LockedRanged
Upstream Channel(Hz)46200000Failed
Provisioning StateUnsupported statusforwarding_disabled
 
REGISTRATION COMPLETE - Waiting for Operational status
No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing
 
cant use hub3 now ?

That's good as removal of the splitter improves your signal strength.

Thanks for your post and welcome back to the Community. We're sorry to hear you were initially having some issues with your new Hub 5 and getting it working. 

We're also grateful that you kept us updated with how the visit went. We're glad the hub is now working for you. 

If you currently have a package which has 2 TV boxes, then as mentioned by another user, this should be connected for you. We can arrange an engineer visit to get this done for you. 

If you only have use of one TV then it may make more sense to speak to the team to get the additional box removed. We won't be able to do this via the Community however speaking to the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111 will get that sorted for you. 

Pop back and keep us posted on how you get on and which you decide to do.
