download power levels

my power levels for downstream are around 12-13? my friend says it should be around 2-6 ish for stable connection, 

my internet always disconnects every 8 -10hrs even from a wired connection. VM wont tell me if 13 is too high, raised 2 complaints going issues for over 1 year, they just say "on going issues in area" for a whole year really? had enough. Hopefully someone from VM sees this and acts on it, sick of talking to customer services who never help even when i raise complaints nothing happens 

 

A **bleep** off customer ..... whos been with VM since they took over from telewest
