cutting into the wall?

I am trying to get a permission from landlord about installing virgin media.

I asked the real-estate agent to get permission and got a following reply

----

She doesn’t have a problem with you installing Virgin Media, as long as they don’t need to cut into the walls. Please can you find out and let us know what they need to do?

----

What should I check and how can I explain the installation hardware jobs?

Re: cutting into the wall?

Why not watch the video on manned/engineer installation here? Remember if this is a first time cable installation the cable has to be brought from the street to inside your house:

If there is already a VM socket inside your accommodation you can do the installation yourself - quick start (all explained on this page)
