A builder has pulled up our buried cable, disconnecting it from the box on the outside wall. He has reconnected the cable ends to each other without going through the box. To my surprise the full service - TV broadband and landline - still works!
Is it still safe to use the service?
Should it be repaired, and if so who should I contact? (It's not clear to me from the website)
Thanks

Can you post up some photos of the damage?

Probably ok, there is nothing in the outside box except the joined cables.

Thanks for the reply. I rang 150, got through without having to wait, fixed a date for the box to be repaired - and was immediately offered new media service and phone contracts at reduced prices.
