account already exists at this address!!

Hi there,

 

I just moved to new property and was about to order my broadband package, when I received a notification that an account at this property already exists and need to wait 14 days, which must be from the previous tenants. 
The have left behind a VM router, which is disconnected and seems inactive when connected. They have moved out a while ago and I can’t get in touch with them to check.

 

I am a PhD student Setting broadband ASAP for working from home purposes is essential, how can I resolve this issue  and set up my broadband?
