aborted installation

Hi, i have just had an aborted engineers visit to connect my broadband and tv. virgin is installed in our area so i thought it would be easy!! 2 weeks ago we had engineers install from the pavement to our property and fixed a box on our wall. Today an engineer arrived as per the appointment. i was then told he would be unable to do this as the cable was not installed into the box and it was only the duct installed. Has anyone had this problem ? will it take long to complete the install by virgin as we need our connection?

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

I'm sorry to hear there's been a delay with your installation.

There can be things that are out of our control, and issues that can't always be known prior to installation.

If construction work is needed this can take anything up to 6 weeks to complete, but you should be advised of a time frame.

Have you had this rebooked?
