Yodel says delivered but hasn’t

My quick start package was due to arrive between 6:30pm - 8:30pm last night. I was in all evening and no one came to my door. You would understand my shock however when I received an email however to say that my package had been delivered at 8:12pm.

So I went outside my house no package, checked the neighbours, no package. Annoying thing is I can’t even contact Yodel as their customer services aren’t open on a Saturday evening or Sunday.

Has this happened to anyone else before? The most ironic thing is that it says in the tracking page that the delivery requires a picture in an open door and I know that DEFINITELY could not have happened. 

Now my virgin service has gone live and I can’t even use it!

Update, I spoke to virgin on the phone yesterday and they said they will look into it and I will receive an email about this, have yet to receive anything. Also spoke to Yodel who have told me their record shows it as delivered so they will need to speak to the driver and I should receive an update within 24 hours.

In the meantime we have no equipment, and therefore no internet and when you work from home most of yours days is incredibly inconvenient.

Can new equipment not be sent on a next day delivery? Because I do not trust Yodel to resolve this any time soon judging by all the comments about them I've read I am not at all confident in their abilities to sort issues out.

Update to my update...SO it turns out they delivered the package to 32 instead of 23 I now have my equipment.
