Wrong power cable

In short me and my partner moved into a new house, virgin media was already built in we just needed to get the box sent out. Box came today with the hub and the wires went to plug it all in and get it all set up to find we have the wrong power cable it doesn’t plug into the hub, called Virgin immediately and they said that they were really sorry and they’d have a new one sent out in 3-5 days. I’m just a bit annoyed as we both work from home and are spending a fortune on data, was just wondering if anyones had the same issue and has it been resolved any faster than that?
