Wifi dropping out

My wifi drops out between the hours of 1am and 2am, not for the hour but for a minute or so, half way through a game I get a message that I've disconnected and I have to reconnect. Which is very annoying. Is there  anything I can do?

Hi Alan562265,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue you've been having with your WiFi connection.

To confirm, do you have any devices connected via a Wired connection? If so, do you have any issues with those?

Is the game you're playing via a console device? Do you have any disconnections with phones or tablets?

There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't and F people out of 10 who do not understand hexadecimal c1a2a285948293859940d9a49385a2

Everyday though?? For the past 2 weeks??

Seems a bit excessive

Monitor it on a BQM as data to show to VM
________________________________________________________________________
If you haven’t already, set up a free, secure and “offlsite” - “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph”. Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then, click generate. Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see. On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon) In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK
