Wifi booster

Recently moved over to volt and I cant seem to get a good Internet signal up the stairs, seems to be some blackhole! How do you order the WiFi booster pods (need 2) I have looked at the virgin media page, but everytime I click on something it tells me bad requests 😩 son is driving me nuts as his xbox is lagging! I know u can call them but tbh takes so long to speak to someone.

Hi @glasgowkaren83 

You can call 150 from a  VM landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am when lines first open to avoid call queues.

Also try this number 0800 064 3850 taken from the https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/intelligent-wifi  page.

(You can't currently use that page to order the pods as VM are only taking phone orders.)

A member of the Forum team may also pick this up for you in a day or two.

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're having an issue with a blackspot. 

We can certainly get a WiFi pod ordered for you but you'll need to wait until you've received this before we can run through diagnostics to see if a 2nd will help. 

To get the initial pod ordered, I will need to confirm some information with you.
