Does my first WiFi Pod need to be cabled directly to the Hub?

Hi @stuandjan1966

No, it doesn't need to be cbaled into the hub.

You can place it in a mains socket anywhere in your proeprty. However best to try it in the same room as the hub first. They can take up  to 24 hours to start working correctly, but the lights should stop flashing after a cou-le, of minutes which means it's paired. You can then move it closer to your blackspot

Thanks for that very helpful😎

Do you by any chance know anything about Volt? I am on Volt350 (it started today) and it seems to be working (measured 386Mbs @ Hub) However I thought this would also speedup ethernet connected devices but I am only measuring 68Mbs on ethernet connected PC. Any advice gratefully received.

Are your Ethernet devices wired directly to the Hub?

Is the adapter set to 1000 full duplex?  It may be the adapter is only running at 10/100?
