WiFi Max Pods

I have Volt package from Virgin Media which means I can order the WiFi pods free of charge.

My parents are also with VM but not with O2. They have poor connection in one of the rooms. If I order one of the pods, can I give it to my parents to connect with their router? If it does connect, will it work for free or will VM catch on and make them pay £8/pm?

Thanks in advance!

All VM Pods are registered to the users Hub, so no you can't just give your Pods to a.n.other.  If you just need an extender, just buy one. Better than paying £8 pm for rental.  These ones are reported to work with VM Hubs Buy TP-Link AC1750 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender & Booster | Wi-Fi boosters | Argos

Don't forget extenders go halfway between the Hub and the "black spot"
