Hi there, let's start with that I've got a 3.0 hub.
In the process of moving furniture around, I've also been sorting out the placement of my router. Disconnecting and reconnecting cables, etc, etc. I also have a mesh network set up, so I decided to factory reset the hub and turn off its WiFi connection. Now my wired connection to my PC is no longer working, no matter what port I plug it into but the mesh network which is also plugged into the hub does work. There's also a steady red light on the front now on the hub.
So what did I do wrong and how do I fix it?
Many thanks in advance.

Correct, one device only, which presumably would have to be the mesh unit. The PC would have to, somehow, also be connected to the mesh.

Sounds like you've put the hub in modem mode. Usually there's a spare port on the mesh system, if that's available plug the PC into that. Or,. if you need to use the hub's Ethernet ports, put it back in router mode, but make sure the mesh is configured in access point mode.

Yeah, I put the router in modem mode, does that mean that I can't connect both my mesh and my PC to it?

Well that's mildly frustrating. I wish it said something like that in the bumph before I did all that. Would have saved me some stress!
Plugged into the back of the mesh and and now everything is working great. Thank you.
