Cabling began in my area early last year and was completed towards the tail end of 2018. I have been patiently waiting for my street to be available. I can still remember my pavements being dug up. I also remember virgin held a drop in session in the community centre 0.2 miles away from my house. The street next to me has virgin media available to it and still after a year of waiting my street isn't able to get this service.
Is there any particular reason why my street has been excluded?
The usual reason is that the number of potential customers in the street doesn't justify the cost of digging up the road. There may also be a limit on the number of connections that the area's infrastructure can support.
