Which availability checker is telling the truth?

Ive found that depending on which route to a postcode checker you take, I get different results as to availability.

This stems from me being told its coming soon, to "going live in a few days" and then back to "not in your area" (even though ive spoken to the engineers that were installing the fibre in the street.

Using this checker:  https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/postcode-checker  I get "Sorry! Our services are not currently available at this address"

Using this checker: https://www.virginmedia.com/join/availability  I get "Good news, our services are nearly in your area"

Its all a bit strange.

Perhaps both in an odd way.

When https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/postcode-checker  gives a positive result it take you to the online order pages.

In our area once the street cabinet was present and the Virgin Media connection hatch installed at the boundary of the property, it took about 1 month for online orders to open.

I would advise placing an order online, this is to ensure your details are all correctly recorded and you have the chance to look at exactly what is being offered in you own time and without an offshore sales person rabbiting in your ear or committing you to more services / bandwidth / costs than you desire.

If you think about it, both answers are correct.
