You could use a longer HDMI cable or an HDMI wireless sender & leave the box where it is.
Extending the coax, as per the previous post is not a DIY job.
Virgin use specialised cable, which stops ingress of Freeview, Digital Radio & 4/5G mobile phone frequencies from entering the network. This interference could not only degrade your services but those of all your neighbours. Also the addition of more cable unbalances your signal levels, which can only be adjusted with access to the street cabinet.
VM will do the job for a one-off payment of £99. All non essential work is currently suspended due to COVID, so you could be waiting a while for a appointment.
