Wanting to sign up but not available in my area

Hi,

There are virgin connection cabinets all over our village and all the footpaths have been dug up to lay cable. When I put my postcode and address in the availability checker, it says that virgin media is not available in my area. Any idea when it will be and what is holding up house connections? It will obviously need a cable connecting from my home to the cable in the street and I am prepared to pay for this, just fed up with poor broadband over standard telephone wires (max. 26Mbps). My post code is LS25 7HG (Kippax, West Yorkshire).

I am having a similar issue, I am wanting to sign up because I’m fed up of poor speeds and the houses on the same road as me but the opposite side( literally a 20 meter difference between us) have availability but I don’t. I am in Belfast where Virgin holds a large monopoly so it’s basically virgin or no other provider here so quite frustrating that it is not available for me
