Want to extend power cable for hub

Hi,

I want to move my hub 4 higher up the wall onto a shelf, it currently sits on top of my pc.

Am I best getting a longer figure 8 cable and having the power pack sitting next to the hub on the shelf, or buying a extension lead cable for the ac/dc power supply side?

Thanks,

James

Re: Want to extend power cable for hub

Hi, yes you could buy a longer figure of 8 cable to plug into the power supply, or use an extension lead.  Which ever suits

Re: Want to extend power cable for hub

Thanks,

I wasn't sure if having the powerbrick sat right next to the hub would cause any interference.

Figure 8 cable is a lot easier.

Re: Want to extend power cable for hub

I wouldn't of thought so, my hub is shoved up the corner on the floor with the power brick right next to it.
