Wall socket missing

Hi there, I just received my Virgin Media kit, but there is no wall socket anywhere in my house, can someone tell me how to contact Virgin Media to solve this? Tried calling them for hours and hours, cannot connect to the internet without it, do I need an engineer and how much it will cost me?
